METONIC

It's been a while since Metonic has hit the stage, but this was fun. The sound, however, was not. The mix on stage was horrific. But we fought through it and came out the other side unscathed. Pretty good show for the new line up. 

It was way cool playing in a record store. This was a bucket list event for sure. So much fun was had by all. For such a small venue, the sound was very good and the crowd was hopping. 

It was an early start for us at the Haltom Metal Fest. We aren't used to playing before 6:00, but that's where we were scheduled and surprisingly there was a really good crowd already. We had a blast and the sound and lights were great. 

Where to begin. The night started off decent enough. We played a couple of tunes and it was going well when, POP, Rich broke a string. No big deal, it happens. Rich summoned someone to get him another guitar before the song was over so he could get his lead parts in, but then, BANG, power went out on not only his amp, but the bass player too. What the hack? Anyway, we got it figured out. There were other power issues before and after us. Oh the joys of live music. All's well that ends well. It was still a good gig. Fun.

It was great to back the Rail. Always a good time to be had there. This was one of the best performances we have done to date. Great crowd and a very unique line up. Bob Wayne was the surprise of the night. That guy is just cool. HELL YEAH! Talk to some friends in the other bands and look forward to doing it again. Long live the Rail.
